Stunning ten sided glass and brass coffee table.
EXTREMELY well made with a decagonal glass top
Flexible on the price down to around $1,200
MUCH better in person
We believe it was made by LaBarge in Italy.
Mastercraft has a catalog from 1965 (that we have) that ALSO shows a version that looks like this and this has the same build quality.
The glass AND the brass is probably in some of the best ORIGINAL CONDITION around for vintage furniture from the 50s-70s.
Glass has GORGEOUS two layer bevels all the way around.
Top is around 43" on parallel sides so it fits in a 45" circular space
Brass frame is around 32" in diameter
Glass is over 1/2" thick
The brass is heavy and the joints are brazed. That makes it VERY strong.
The strips between legs are very thick and the feet are incredibly solid and very well designed.
The finish is stunning and shows signs of great care but also indicates that the company used better brass that did not get uneven patinas. So the cast parts, strips, tubes and brazing materials all used similar composition brass
