Yes! Yes! Yes! If you contacted me in the past about my red-mageta cactus, your name is still on my list and YOU will be given first dibs!
The first two photos were captured on 5/20/2017.
The plant produces wide multi-petaled red-magenta flowers year-round.
The color varies in tone from more red, to more magenta, depending on the season.
It has showcased as many as 25 flowers open at ONE time!
Striking flowers to adore! It has blooms repeatedly, especially so in May, June, July and August.
Flowers last between 1-3 days (depends on the season and heat). The plant stalk does have thorns.
I have it growing in a pot, in the center of my yard, in full sun. It could be placed in less hours of sun, without concern.
Great pot specimen or in a drought tolerant/cactus garden.
If all goes accordingly, I anticipate separating my cactus in 2025. I have done this for my other cacti and sold the offsets bare-root. If you are interested in enjoying this plant in your garden, let me know. I will add your name and once I have divided the offsets, I will send you a quote on pricing/sizing.
Photos #3 and beyond were taken over the last three years. The specific offsets you see in Photos #3 and beyond found new homes in years past. It would be best to refer to Photo #1 to garner an idea on what will be available this coming year.
Thanking you for your patience!
