My Crapes are 4' to 10' feet tall. They can grow an average of 2-3 feet per year. They provide beautiful blooms all summer long and have an exfoliating bark that is just as attractive as their blooms. If you want a beautiful privacy fence, an attractive lining to your driveway, or color in your yard...Crape Myrtle trees are the perfect fit. You can plant these trees a few feet apart, plant in clusters, or simply plant a single tree as a colorful focal point in your yard.
These plants are deciduous and can be grown in full sun. Not only do Crepe Myrtles tolerate poor and dry soil, but they also bloom lavishly during summer. Low maintenance. Elegant structure!
My Crapes are growing in pots and very easy to transplant into a new location. This is an excellent time to do so!
Typically, they come out of hibernation in late Winter (can be as early as February, sometimes as late as April -- depends on the weather), they produce green leaves in March to May, flowers start in June and continue in Summer, in Autumn their leaves show gorgeous "orange-red-yellow" colors (they are doing so now...see last 2 photos). You can grow them like a bush or a standard tree.
I have the following FLOWER colors:
* lavender (1 tree left, approx 7' tall (measured from soil line) <=== I have included photos of their specific flower clusters. NOTE 8/2025: This specific tree began producing bloom inflorescences in late June. Flowers have been on display all through July and August! Several flushes!! This tree has produced the most flowers EVER this year! Several flowers are still open!)
* red (sold out)
* pink (sold out)
* white (sold out)
* mystery color (sold out)
Let me know what size you'd like and quantity. And, whether or not bloom color matters. The "mystery colored" plants are less expensive.
Photos are examples of mature plants (for ideas on what they will look like).
