The Reedco Joint Flexibility Protractor (also known as an Arthrodial Protractor) accurately measures the flexibility of all major joints of the body.

Product Description:
The Baseline Large Joint Arthrodial Protractor Goniometer is the ideal tool to Measure Joint Limits, Range of Motion, Cervical Rotation, Lateral Flexion and Anterior-Posterior Cervical Flexion in Active and Passive Movements. For larger joints, the Protractor is ideal to measure, in degrees, the Flexion of the Shoulder (180°), Elbow (145°), Knee (140°) and Hip (125°), Extension and the Abduction of the Shoulder (180°) and Hip (45°). Results are compared to limitation norms established by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). Additionally, the device is capable of bilateral joint measurements as well. Use it to check and measure the left, right and total movement limitations of Cervical Rotation, Cervical Lateral Bend, Cervical A. P. Flexion and Spiral Lateral Flexibility. This Protractor is really the complete and total measurement tool. In addition to measuring limitations of large joints and bilateral joints, the unit also calculates the Range-of-Motion for all major articulations by noting the change in degrees from the starting position to the flexed position. Suitable for both adults and children, the Protractor is extremely easy to use. It features two 180° opposing scales in 5° increments, making the device very simple to read. To use, place the focus of the goniometer at the pivot point of the joint to be measured.  Have the patient flex, extend, abduct, or rotate and read the degree measurement as you would read a protractor. The included bubble level assures measurement accuracy. This Protractor is a Baseline product, which means it’s a trusted name in measurement and evaluation instruments. Baseline products have been used by Medical Professionals, Therapists, Doctors and Rehab Clinics all over the world since 1974. If you have ever received therapy after an injury, you have probably had your progress tested and measured with a Baseline measurement instrument.
