Overview:
The TOPS Center, a dynamic and patient-centered practice specializing in musculoskeletal medicine, pain management, and physical medicine & rehabilitation, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality care focused on improving function and quality of life for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical exams, and review diagnostic tests
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Perform peripheral joint/bursa and trigger point injections
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRIs, EMGs)
Manage both acute and chronic orthopedic pain conditions
Manage concussions and other neurological conditions that are seen in PM&R offices
Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR system
Educate patients on above plans, medications, rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications
Collaborate with other health care professionals and ancillary services
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in California
Graduation from an accredited PA program
NCCPA certification
Previous experience in MSK, orthopedics, pain management, or PM&R preferred but not required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting
