Stunning antique ruby red glass lamp - $400 (Studio City)

Gorgeous ruby red glass purchased years ago at a high end estate sale.
Glass is in fantastic condition.
It has a newer shade of course!
Cast parts are in fantastic condition.

It has three notable heights.
The bottom to the top of the glass is around 14"
The bottom to the spot that a shade mounts to is 26"
The bottom to the top of the CURRENT lamp shade is around 29" to the top as it sits around 3" above the lamp to shade mount point
BUT, this lamp ALSO has an adjustable top which raises the lamp shade even higher.
Not quite sure how much higher it goes but it has a locking dial once you adjust it
Shade is a Victorian or Art Deco type shade that is 17" wide at the base but that can be replaced with a different style
The base may have been an add on. Pretty refined work if it was. Many of the older lamps have only the 3-4 foot metal bases so it is possible this was added on with newer wiring many decades ago to make it even more stable. We are not sure
