We were asked by a well-known film director to find a new home for this set, as it was part of a high fashion film project a few years ago and these were given to the director as partial payment. Rather than make a spectacle at auction, he wanted to make these accessible to a nice couple looking to take their vows. These are worth far more than the asking price here.
Truly breathtaking, these rings were a collaboration between Verragio, a custom ring maker and the high end retail company/brand—all collaborating for a special collection promotion that this director filmed some years back. No one’s seen these rings anywhere in stores—only at the special events they did around the world.
These rings are custom designed and are both made of solid 18K gold vintage blend and are hypoallergenic. The center stone of the engagement ring is a rare AAAA VVS 1.5 carat gold sapphire that is absolutely stunning—more expensive than a lot of diamonds in its size range. There are .75 carats of VVS pave diamonds all around the engagement ring and another .5 carats of VVS pave diamonds around the wedding band.
The rings are pretty light and don’t feel heavy on your hand, but they’re substantial at the same time. They’re completely stunning up close, especially in the sun—and they’re pristine—brand new. The photos don't do the rings justice at all, but they capture the beauty. The sizes on both are a standard 6.25. These would look amazing on almost any woman who can wear these.
If you'd like to see or purchase the rings, then you will have to come to our secure building by appointment. There are security guards and cameras there—we aren't meeting anyone anywhere else. And we have to get you on the phone before we schedule any showings because there's just too much craziness out there. Anyone who comes off like a scammer or not a serious buyer will be ignored and/or blocked. So please, only serious (and polite) interested parties only.
This is a very special set and will be an amazing symbol of love for the right bride/couple. There is also a gorgeous men's wedding ring made by one of Tacori's top designers that was displayed with this ring in the fashion events that would go perfectly with this ring set—if the size fits, that is.
