Maintenance Worker/ Janitor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor / Maintenance Worker to ensure our facility remains clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role combines custodial duties with basic handyman responsibilities, including minor repairs and general upkeep of the building and surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, and landscaped spaces
• Conduct basic maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., fixing leaks, replacing light bulbs, minor carpentry, painting)
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address maintenance or safety issues
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Assist with setup and cleanup for events or facility use as needed
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards promptly

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of repair tools and techniques
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Hours 7am-330pm Monday thru Friday
