The duties and responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator I include, but are not limited to:
Operates machine to produce quality parts.
Is in the initial process of being trained to advance into a higher skill level.
Loads unfinished parts and removes finished parts from machine.
Performs basic checks for tolerance and specifications.
Refers unusual difficulties, malfunctions, and any adjustments or tooling requirements to maintain original set up, to team leader or supervisor.
Observes machine operations to detect work-piece defects or machine malfunction.
Measures work-piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operations.
Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work-piece.
Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work-pieces.
Promotes and enforces the Company safety policy in all areas of responsibility.
Follow and adhere to all industry and Company safety policies.
Submit all required paper work in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain files in a neat and orderly manner.
Other duties/responsibilities that are assigned by the Shift Supervisor from time-to-time.f
