Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team in Chatsworth, CA. This role is responsible for performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of facility structures, equipment, and utilities to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility machinery and equipment, including air compressors, boilers, HVAC systems, wash equipment, coolant filtration systems, and mist collectors
Support building improvement projects, including plumbing, metal fabrication, carpentry, and painting
Handle chemicals, oils, and hazardous waste safely while using proper PPE
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report unusual conditions to supervisors
Assist with general maintenance tasks, including cleaning, sweeping, trash removal, and oil spill cleanup to maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing or related industry (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Knowledge of facility systems, tools, and maintenance best practices
Strong attention to safety procedures and detail
Pay & Schedule:
Pay: $20 – $22/hour
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Sunday – Thursday | 10:30 PM – 6:15 AM
