Our client, a fast-paced manufacturing company, is looking for a Manufacturing Associate (Pre-Weigher) to join their team in North Hollywood, CA. This role plays a critical part in weighing and preparing raw materials for production while ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Weigh and measure raw ingredients precisely based on batch records and formulations
Prepare, label, and organize materials for production
Maintain accurate documentation and report any variances
Perform basic quality checks on incoming raw materials
Follow all GMP and safety guidelines during material handling
Keep work areas clean and compliant with internal SOPs
Collaborate with production teams to ensure materials are ready and available
Use required PPE and handle exposure to wet conditions, noise, and cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (chemistry or related education a plus)
1+ year of experience as a pre-weigher or in a manufacturing/lab setting
Knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and compounding processes
Attention to detail, strong organizational and documentation skills
Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, climbing stairs)
Forklift certification preferred
Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or personal care manufacturing is a plus
Pay & Schedule:
$22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
