We have multiple companies hiring for experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operators in the San Fernando Valley.
Summary: Seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to sew raw materials with industrial sewing machines into awnings and canopies.
Responsibilities:
• Operate, clean, and maintain sewing and machine.
• Fit parts together using measuring and marking equipment.
• Sew materials into cartridge components.
• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure production specifications are met.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with machine brands such as Consew and Juki.
• Experience with lockstitch and overlocking around edges.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to use blueprints and math skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
