Selmer Paris Model 32 Bass Clarinet in Stunning Condition. Range to Low Eb. Silver Plated Keys. Artist Level Overhaul just completed. No dents, cracks, flattened bow or damaged neck which are frequently present on abused instruments for sale online. This bass was manufactured about 1990 after Selmer Paris had completely redesigned the instrument, implementing significant improvements which consisted of;
redesigned octave mechanism
sturdier joint couplings
improved right hand trill mechanism
redesigned and relocated tone holes
more ergonomic keywork
improved intonation
adjustable thumb rest
A nicer specimen than this will require purchasing a new one, presently $18,055 after sales tax, from Sweetwater. This bass will save you over $10,500!!!!! Only your accountant will know (but not hear) the difference. You are welcome to audition this instrument adjacent to a few other, earlier model 32's that I also own, to see, feel and hear the difference!
