Black Strats with a maple fretboard and mint pickguard are just a beautiful combination (the pickguard and backplate are parchment, but over the years have begun to turn mint).
Hss = complete versatility.
The 2008 through early 2012 Stratocaster pickups (alnico V) are highly desirable. Do a quick internet search and see for yourself. The neck pickup gives that glassy bell-like tone we all look for. And the Fender Diamondback humbucker for this year rips!
The TSA flight case for this year is light years better than today's Pro ii case. It's built like a tank. Keys included.
I just changed the original strings out and did a full set up. This guitar plays phenomenally with low action across the fretboard and sounds amazing if you have a proper amp.
