Fantastic for smaller rooms, and for clean accuracy from the lo-mids to the highs. They DO get loud, but volume is not their strongest suit. Fantastic for dialogue work and ADR if you're editing/mixing for film. They're only "decent" for bass reproduction, but listening to your favorite music on them can tune your ears to their response curve.
I've got the original boxes and packaging. Also I've thrown in some XLR cables.
I seem to recall that one of the 1/4" jacks had a problem, but sadly I can't test it because all my gear is in storage.
The duct tape? I think it held up cue sheets...
