This beauty is in mint condition and all the valves and pipes are pristine and the action is smooth and lightning fast. And the colors of this horn are unbelievable, especially with the blue-green of the opal buttons throwing off of the glossy green metallic highlights in the vintage finish, which is probably the most exquisite that we've ever seen in these Gansch vintage finishes.
If you've never played a Schagerl Gansch Horn before, then you're in for a real treat. Don't let the rotary valve orientation scare you—it's faster, smoother and helps you slot much more easily than any other trumpet once you get accustomed to the slightly different feel. The precision handmade valve block is precision at its finest. The direct response of the pistons and the smooth sound and feel of the rotary valves complement the widest, darkest and most complex tones all the way to the brightest and most compact tones—the sky is the limit with this horn. It will become your favorite horn in no time, especially with the totally free upper register.
Blazing fast passages are a breeze and the horn is designed to be played one-handed (unlike traditional rotary trumpets) so that you can play plunger mute solos, turn pages or perform quick mute changes with ease. And the Gansch Horn's eye-catching swooped bell design makes it a natural with a lowered jazz or blues placement, directing the tone exactly where you want it.
Comes with original ultra-light Schagerl Hard-Soft Case. No mouthpieces are included but we're confident any mouthpiece you decide to use will complement this incredible instrument. Depending on when you see this listing, we may also have some fine and rare Bb recommended MPs for this horn available from the seller for separate purchase at the time of posting.
