Risson ETA-100 Tube Amplifier Head. 100 watt all tube head that uses 2-6550 power amp tubes (recently replaced with tung sols) and 12AX7 preamp tubes.
It was made in the late 70s and was a boutique amp handmade by Bob Rissi (known for design work at Vox and Fender) in Santa Ana, California. It is like a modified Marshall Plexi with a lot of extra features.
You can blend channels 1+2 (one is bassier and one is brighter like a plexi) in order to cascade the gain. like having the two channels jumpered with a patch cable but hardwired to an individual input. It also has a preamp master volume and power amp master volume (that is defeatable to operate as a non-master volume head) in order to achieve breakup and crunch at lower levels and to control which section overdrives more if you prefer power amp or preamp distortion. Has a deep (more bass/gain) switch and a lift switch as well that change the tonal options to help if you are using single coils or humbuckers. Its like a very flexible plexi that you can achieve gain in a club at a controllable volume.
Doesn't have a handle and there is wear to the power cable but it is fully functional. Has some light wear from use but in great shape for it's age.
$1000 E-mail or text to buy. I am located in Fresno but I can meet in public from Santa Clarita down to Anaheim just let me know where you are located and when you are able to meet.
