I am moving so I have to part with my beloved 2600. Iconic synth with endless possibilities. This one is in amazing shape, everything works, including the internal speakers and the beautiful reverb. This one has been serviced and has no issues. I'm not sure the year
What I'm including:
- The beautiful 3604-P keyboard (the better one out of the two that were offered)
- The Korg SQ-1 Sequencer - this little machine is an amazing addition to the 2600, you can trigger different oscillators to separate sequences. Hours of fun with this unit.
- About 10 patch cables
- The Manual! Printed and organized in a folder.
- The original Patch book! Also printed and organized in a folder.
I also have the cover that came with it, in case you want it. I've had this unit for many years in a smoke free home studio. It's definitely a collector's item, but also an amazing instrument to make music with, and an important piece of music history.
btw, I've had the Korg reissue here and I spent a few hours comparing them - there's no comparison. The original 2600 just sounds ALIVE.
These go for $11,000 and more on reverb, asking $10k. I think this one is a ARP 2600P, made in 1973-1974.
