I bought this the week it was released from guitar center. It is in brand new condition. I've only used it in home.
This amp sounds great with single coils as well as buckers. It is a great early Marshall/Bluesbreakers sound. One watt is louder then most would think. It can be attenuated down to .5 Watt if too loud. It is a very touch responsive amp, cleans very nicely with a volume knob. A perfect pedal platform amp.
I love this amp but have to downsize quickly ... that is why I am sell at such a low price. These amps are hard to find as they were limited to a short few months production time frame ... as marshall was releasing a new 1 Watt Limited 50th Anniversary amp every few months to honor each era of amp models.
Here are some video examples using this amp ... the recordings aren't great as these were from over 10 years ago and I was just learning how to record and post to youtube ... and back then youtube really compressed the audio/video of uploads ... but still gives an idea of what how great and useable this amp is.
