This 98' CE 22 is a recent purchase but I am drowning in guitars at the moment. If you're a PRS aficionado you know what a steal these early model CE's are. Unlike the relaunched version with a non-carved top, multi-piece necks and Korean hardware these older models are 100% USA made and were made hand in hand with all core models. Therefore they have the fully carved top, one-piece maple necks and core PRS hardware/pickups. This one is extra special because it has some flame in the neck. I have never seen this before. In the early days PRS was using the same wood across all lines of guitars and this one won luck of the draw.

Full specs include:

- Alder body w/ Flame Maple cap (Cherry Sunburst Finish)

- 1 piece (light flame) maple neck with rosewood fretboard

- Abalone Moon inlays

- PRS Tremolo Bridge

- Dragon II pickups

- Phase I locking tuners

- Wide/Fat neck carve

- Vol/Tone/5-way rotary switch

- 8lb 3oz on my scale (light to average for this model).

- OHSC and shown paperwork included along with trem arm

Overall this guitar is in great shape with very little signs of use. Excellent condition for a 27 year old PRS and just a joy to play. It can handle everything from clean jazz tones to screaming overdrive on the dragon II's. Frets are just about perfect, this one has been a case baby.
