The neck on this bad boy is a Slim Taper D profile, making it fast and incredibly comfortable to play. Neck dimensions are approximately 0.800 inches at the first fret and 0.875 inches at the 12th fret— nice to have the heal cutaway addition making getting up into the dusty end of the fret board way easier. The rosewood fingerboard is nice and dark, silky smooth, featuring 22 frets and acrylic dot inlays. These guitars come factory Plek’d for flawless fret leveling, and this one’s been freshly polished, so it’s ready to go. The headstock is clean and sharp, free from any major dings or scratches has one tiny little nick at the very top as pictured. The back of the neck is flawless and look at the color and grain on this guy! and feels amazing and looks totally sick, turned out fantastically and its one of the easiest-playing LPSHP's we’ve had in the shop.
The Worn Cherry finish is perfect, with a really nice wood grain top, with just the right amount of vintage character. The Ultra-Modern weight relief in the mahogany body keeps the axe comfortable to play without sacrificing tone, its perfectly balanced and has zero neck dive. At only 8.4 lbs, it’s lightweight but still has that signature Les Paul resonance and sustain. This guitar is rad, got some top layer fish marks here and there, and mainly on the rear at the control plate area but nothing major to note- it's clean all over. 9/10 for condition this one.
All the hardware is nickel-plated and rock-solid, featuring Gibson’s adjustable titanium zero-fret nut (game changer for sets ups) and the G-Force auto-tuning system as been removed and replaced with top of the line locking grover kidney tuners (the G-force is not included). The Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece are clean, with little to no wear, and all electronics are 100% original. It’s equipped with legendary 490R and 490T humbuckers, giving you them creamy, warm leads tones and tight, articulate rhythms. This setup delivers everything you need and expect from a true Gibson LP!
Unplugged, the guitar rings out beautifully; plugged in, it’s a total tone machine. It’s strung with 9-42s and set up with a low, fast action that feels effortless to play. Sustain for days, great resonance, and super responsive to your touch. It’s been fully stripped, cleaned, inspected, authenticated and professionally dialled in by our in-house techs, so it’s 100% ready to go to her new home.
