I have some studio rack gear for sale. All in good condition, except where noted. All prices are OBO.
I can share more/better pics per request.
FX:
- Alesis Midiverb 4 Digital Effects Processor - $180
- BBE Sonic Maximizer 362NR - $80
- Lexicon MPX200 Digital Effects Processor - $90
(Lexicon works fine, but may need a new power supply, soon. There's a humming sound coming from inside the rack unit... but not from the outputs. Price was lowered b/c of that.)
Dynamics:
- Drawmer DL241 XLR - $200
- ART MDC2001 Stereo Dynamics Controller - $90
- Gyraf SSL Bus-Comp-clone - $160
(Gyraf works, but setting threshold is finicky, as was the case with early such units... AFAIK, can be modded to improve threshold behavior).
Mackie HDR 24/96 - "Hotrodded" - $550
Upgrades include:
a. Boots from and able to record 24 tracks to a CF (Compact Flash) card, accessible from the unit's back.
b. 2-1/2" SATA drive bay for recording to Solid State (SSD) or spinning SATA drives.
c. 5-1/4" IDE drive bay for recording to spinning IDE harddrive (aka the original HDR design).
d. Active drive-bay selectable via rear-panel switch
e. BIOS upgrade to be able to use harddrives up to ~130 GB capacity
f. Quieter fans (PSU & CPU)
g. Choice of 3x 8-channel I/O cards (Analog or ADAT)
- Mackie MDR 24/96 - converted to HDR and "hotrodded" - $450
a. Converted to full HDR functionality, via original HDR firmware chip.
b. VGA-Video card added (from another Mackie unit), Keyboard & Mouse connections.
c. Same upgrades as HDR listed above, but SATA drive-bay doesn't currently work (likely poor contact somewhere inside).
d. Choice of 3x 8-channel I/O cards (Analog or ADAT)
- Panasonic SV-3700, DAT Recorder - $80
(Needs repair or for parts - Tape-Drawer often gets stuck and won't eject)
Mixers:
- Fostex Line Mixer Model 2050 - $80
(some knobs are missing their colored tips, but the knobs works as they should)
Power Amp:
QSC PLX2402, 2400 Watt Power amplifier - $300
Both channels work, but the volume knob for the right channel needs to be cleaned or maybe replaced. Volume drops sometimes, until tapping on the volume knob.
Utilities/Other:
- Cable Up CU/PB032R patchbay. 32-point RCA patchbay - $40
- DBX 223XL, two-channel crossover - $150
- DOD 835 Series II, two-channel crossover - $75
- Digidesign Digi001, rack-unit only (interface card missing), untested - $20
- Tascam IF-88AE - $80
Converts and splits 8-channel TDIF Input/Output signal into 4x Stereo (=8channel) AES/EBU input/output.
Can also convert two of the TDIF channels (selectable) to S/PDIF
(useful to transfer/copy DA88/DA38 tapes via digital ports on modern computer audio interfaces, etc.)
