Forming something somewhere between Gogo Penguin and Planet Drum (Sherman Oaks)

I’m a 45M drummer. My tastes are eclectic.
Ideally this would start with a rhythm section (bass and percussion) and expand to synth/keys, maybe guitar and/or horns to play someone’s compositions or write originals in a CONTEMPORARY psychedelic/groovy vein.
I have a busy life but would dedicate one or 2 practice/gigs a week when ramped up. I have a practice space. This is for fun but also to take seriously.
Less like Grateful Dead (I’m not big into blues/roots and tons of shuffle grooves) and more like Shpongle (i.e. more world and electronic elements). Jammy and improvised, but not cheesy (no offense, Phish). Emphasis on the psychedelic element, but psychedelic, to me, means meditative and textured, not just trippy. All of that said, I'm not dogmatic on what is supposed to come from this. I always expect a surprise when a variety of personalities come together.
