Adult here - Been playing "In the pocket" since the late 60's. Toured the country. Made music videos. Worked in music and consumer / pro audio industries. Now retired, have lotsa time as well as good gear and attitude. Looking for like minded adults that need a good, solid bass player and sometime singer to play out 1-2x a month, but not for free.
I am tired of the "Pay to Play" attitude of many small clubs. They either get the bands for free or even make money from scam "ticket sales" and make more money on the door and drink sales. That is so disrespectful. I'm good enough to get paid - even a little. Even drinks and pizza!
Non-Smoker, No Drugs - easy to get along with. Willing to rehearse around the East Valley / Burbank area and play within a much larger radius. Been playing from Culver City to NoHo to Hollywood/Downtown to Santa Clarita to Camarillo.
Doobies / Allmans / Steely Dan / Traffic / later Clapton blues / Beatles / JJ Cale / John Hiatt / CCR / Petty / Stones / almost any country, etc. Even some hard rock. Let's just have a good time and make gas money playing songs people want to hear and dance to!
