Pay: $28–$33 per hour (non-exempt, overtime eligible)
We’re a Burbank-based fine art company looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Safety & HR Compliance Coordinator to help keep our workplace safe, compliant, and organized. This role is hands-on and works closely with operations and our legal team.
What You’ll Do
-Help monitor compliance with OSHA / Cal-OSHA and general workplace safety rules
-Track and support compliance with California employment laws, including meal and rest breaks, timekeeping, and wage-and-hour requirements
-Assist with workplace safety documentation, logs, training records, and walkthroughs
-Support employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork and policy acknowledgments
-Maintain HR and safety files, training records, and compliance documentation
-Assist with workers’ compensation audits, including gathering documents and coordinating responses
-Provide administrative support to the legal department, including organizing documents and tracking compliance items
-Answer basic employee questions related to safety and HR procedures
-Help support audits, inspections, and other compliance-related requests as needed
What We’re Looking For
-Working knowledge of Cal-OSHA and California employment rules is required
-Bilingual English/Spanish required
-Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
-Comfortable handling confidential information
-Clear written and verbal communication skills
-Comfortable using Microsoft Office
-Experience supporting HR, legal, or compliance functions is helpful but not required
Pay &; Benefits
-$28–$33 per hour, depending on experience
