We are seeking a highly organized individual to manage the process related to IT hardware and software sales quote preparation, order fulfilment, vendor relations, and the tracking and maintenance of software activations, expirations, and inventory. Duties and Responsibilities
Receives hardware, software, and service sales quote creation requests from Technical Account Managers (TAMs)
Researches product requirements and negotiates best costs with vendors
Creates sales quotes through our Quote preparation system and submits to TAMs for approval
Updates and maintains our Quote preparation/Tracking system
Acts as liaison between Engineers and TAMs to ensure accurate technical solutions are being provided
Researches technical solutions and provides feedback to TAMs
Coordinates and administers the Purchase Order, Sales Order, and Product invoicing process in conjunction with Accounting
Coordinates Return Authorization process with vendors as needed
Coordinates support with vendors for technical staff when needed
Proactively manages client software activations, expirations, and inventory
Creates Procurement Weekly Reports, tracks order shipments, and provides status updates to Service Teams
Coordinates and orders office supplies on a recurring basis
Answers phones and assists with miscellaneous Admin. duties as needed
Typical Minimum Requirements
One to two years experience in information technology working with hardware and software
Demonstrate knowledge in customer service support and issue management
Fluent in MS-Outlook, MS-Word, MS-Excel
Experience working in a PSA and/or CRM system
Experience working directly with clients to satisfy on-going requests
Experience researching new products online and navigating electronic commerce sites
Highly organized - Ability to prioritize effectively, work with a sense of urgency, and multitask
Detail oriented - Ability to apply consistency throughout the work product with significant attention to detail
Efficient - Effective at producing required results to meet deadlines
Strong Communicator - Both written and oral (consistent, efficient, and effective)
Proactive - Ability to determine tasks required to be addressed without being prompted and proactively addressing them timely
