The pre-WWII Rolleiflex Automat Type 2, a medium format twin-lens reflex camera, features a Zeiss Tessar 7.5cm f3.5 lens and came with a protective case. This model was known for its automatic film winding and was the first Rolleiflex to win the Grand Prix at the 1937 Paris World's Fair. The "Automat" model is distinguishable from other Rolleiflex models by its automated film counter, which removed the need to look at the film's backing through a red window.
