Rare and amazing set of five Zeiss Custom Planar + Distagon + Makro-Planar Duclos Modified ZF.2 Cinema Prime Lenses in PRISTINE and NEW CONDITION. All glass is perfect. You will never find a set exactly like this for sale again—and these are far from the stock lenses typically available from this line. All lenses are f/2 or f/1.4. We just learned that these were also color-matched—more of a thing back in the golden age of cinema, but only mentioned to reinforce the fact that these lenses are the absolute best.
We are representing the sale for an award-winning film director who is also a cinematographer. This was the director's personal set of lenses and the director just wanted the set to find a new home where it will be used and loved. No hooplas—just wants a fair price—and a portion of proceeds will go to arts education charities.
Of course, all lenses have proper rear and face dust caps and they all nest beautifully in a custom cut Pelican storage case with an extra cutout for a zoom (or other) larger lens. Note that all serials or identifying info have been blurred for privacy and fraud prevention purposes. Any info will be disclosed directly to prospective buyers. Thank you for your understanding.
