n 1978 Richard Avedon prepared the "Portfolio of Eleven from Paris" in conjunction with his retrospective exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The images are from those taken in Paris during the late 1940s and early 1950s. Avedon prepared a presentation portfolio of the same images specially printed by offset lithography. This portfolio has now become a collector's piece.
The cover and eleven images are shown in this portfolio. The portfolio measures 8 x10, and the photos are 5 x 6 1/4 inches centered on 8x10 heavy stock. Each image is titled on the lower left - this portfolio is in good condition - IT IS NOT SIGNED,
