Gaggenau's 400 Series products have a striking presence in the kitchen. The 30" single oven's strong character is emphasized by the contemporary touch of a stainless steel finish. Rounding off its contemporary aesthetic is the absence of a door handle. With the simple touch of a button, the oven opens the door automatically from a hinge on the left or right side of the oven, versus the traditional bottom-hinge orientation of most wall ovens on the market. The 400 Series doesn't stop at just its appearance alone. It brings professional-grade convection cooking along with other professional cooking methods to express the best in your culinary confections.
The digital control console, capable of 25 different language displays, has a variety of timing features, can save cooking settings for frequently used recipes, and it can work in conjunction with the integrated meat thermometer to adjust temperatures under automatic cooking cues. The oven also includes a rotisserie spit for roasting succulent game and other meats. The proofing mode makes this oven great for bakers, and the optional baking stone will make the most delicious breads. After all cooking is done, the oven's pyrolytic self-cleaning mode uses high heat to burn off food debris and spills. As an added convenience, the racks are safe to leave in the oven during the pyrolytic self-cleaning mode.
