I just put this clutch in my 1968 mustang last month and replaced it with another one after about 50 miles. I can't return it for a refund because I installed it...so I'm going to sell it. Why am I selling it? Well it turns out it was the right clutch but I installed it using regular bolts instead of the proper shoulder bolts. Shoulder bolts are used when alignment dowels are not so everything will be perfectly aligned and concentric to the flywheel. So this clutch is fine...I bought another one for no reason. This is considered 'stock+' for clutch effort. It's smooth but firmer than stock and good for 450hp.
Look at the pictures: the clutch surface still shows the finishing texture. This is the 10.5" RAM 92502 kit. It is a long style performance clutch currently priced at $350 from Summit. I am also including a never-used McCleod pilot bearing for a 289 and 5.0 and throw out bearing for a 5.0 (1986 and later) for free.
