Looking for work as part-time employee helping an experienced bookkeeper, accountant or team manage client books.
A little more about me:
I'm an LA-based recently-certified bookkeeper (received online certification in bookkeeping with Quickbooks Online through Bookkeeper Launch), and my goal is to work helping out another accounting professional with their bookkeeping responsibilities and get some extra hands-on experience in the process. I am not able to take on work as a subcontractor at the moment. Ideally looking for fully remote work, but open to negotiation.
Background:
I have a BFA in Animation, and have been working in the animation sector for 10 years as an established animator and storyboard artist. Recent US economy shifts have hit the animation industry pretty hard, which has led me to pursue further education and experience in bookkeeping.
Here are some of the skills you can expect from me:
- Proficient with QBO, comfortable with Excel (or similar software)
- QBO account / COA set-up
- AR, AP
- Asset Recording and Depreciation
- Notes Payable
- Reconciliations
- Payroll Recording
- Exporting / interpreting financial statements
- Great and friendly communicator
- Very computer savvy
