As one of the oldest dispensaries in the country, we maintain a business philosophy of “quality over quantity” and “relationship over transaction.” We are a state licensed adult & medical use microbusiness with retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution departments.

ASSISTANT MANAGER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• ***REQUIRED: 2 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL STORE MANAGEMENT AND POSSESS AN ASSOCIATES OR HIGHER DEGREE. MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE TO WORK ANY SHIFTS AND DAYS. ***DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN’T MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS.
• Assist the store management in meeting or exceeding store productivity goals. Regularly provide reports to Senior Management to discuss strengths, opportunities, trends, performance issues, and concerns. Develop action plans to improve performance. Utilize company tools to generate and organize data. Achieve consistent operational excellence and discipline.
• Maintain a commitment to The Reefinery’s sales processes, values, and business code of ethics.
• Have in-depth knowledge of and adhere to state law requirements.
• Maintain a welcoming environment to customers by greeting and assisting them and responding to their needs. Show passion for products and communicate relevant information to customers and staff. Maintain a safe and clean store environment.
• Maintain proper inventory controls. Perform physical inventory checks. Ensure data is being tracked in Metrc accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure you or the lead budtenders are accurately receiving merchandise, totaling bills, recording payouts, and scheduling product deliveries at appropriate times. Ensure COA’s and other documentation are being collected and filed in an organized manner.
• Input purchase orders, fully set up vendors in the system, and fully set up products in inventory management software system. Must be comfortable working with various computer applications.
• Ensure store is always well-supplied. Research competitors and market trends to assist with purchasing.
• Communicate an accurate weekly change order from the bank to senior management.
• Start and close out registers. Pickup cash drops throughout the day.
• Make staff schedules and ensure staff are taking their breaks on time.
• Ensure Weedmaps menu, all pricing, signage, and displays are accurate and updated.
• Develop a motivated and committed team by being a positive role model. Provide a strong, respectful, leadership presence. Present a professional image in appearance, proper communication, and actions.
• Demonstrate you can assume responsibility and can take charge when store manager is absent.
• Train staff on product knowledge, policies, procedures, exceptional customer service, and a high degree of professionalism.
• Leverage individual staff strengths and create developmental plans to prepare all positions for future growth. Mentor staff and delegate tasks when possible. Set up daily tasks for staff to work on between customers.
• Act as a liaison between senior management, employees, and customers.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute sales promotions in a timely manner.
• Must possess strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Must possess financial and business acumen.
• Possess strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Possess ability to create and analyze reports, spreadsheets, and sales statistics.
• Budtend as needed.


LEAD BUDTENDER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• ***1 YR MINIMUM EXPERIENCE IN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, LEAD BUDTENDER, ASSISTANT MANAGER, OR SIMILAR POSITION***.
• Assist Management as needed.
• Be a role model to other budtenders.
• Ensure shop is well-stocked with product and supplies.
• Work with vendors and receive product.
• Start and close out registers.
• Make staff lunch and break schedules.
• Input purchase orders and set up products in inventory management software.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a high degree of professionalism.
• Budtend as needed.
• AA/AS Degree required.



BUDTENDER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• ***1 YEAR MINIMUM BUDTENDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***. Do not apply if you don't have experience.
• Must have a positive, patient, outgoing attitude and be welcoming and considerate to all customers.
• Responsible for greeting customers and providing guidance about the products and consumption methods that will be most effective for them.
• Take inventory or examine products to identify items to be reordered or replenished.
• Restock shelves with products as needed and keep stock room well-organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a high degree of professionalism.
• Be familiar with rewards program and current deals.
• Assist in general cleaning at the facility.
• Complete discretion and confidentiality is required of this position at all times.
• Possess strong sales skills.
• Have proficiency in basic computer applications and point of sale software systems.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Complete all tasks delegated by the supervising manager and treat all team members with respect. Be a team player and be flexible when needed.

STAFF REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must consent to and successfully pass a background check.
• No prior drug convictions or current probation or parole status.
• Must be reliable and honest.
• Have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Tardiness and absences for shifts will not be tolerated.
• Must be willing to work varied hours: AM shift, PM shift, weekends, and holidays as needed. Overtime may occasionally be required. Store hours are from 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 7 days a week. Typically, full-time staff work 5 days with 35-40 hours/week.
