The public library copies are better than the home printout copies...

For some reason my boyfriend's computer scanner printout comes out with dark whole patches on the printouts.

We put the paper on and close the lid but a huge gap of black ink has been used.

Which is a total waste of black ink.

He tried pressing down on the book pages to be printed out and that did help a lot.

But still there is a gap of black strip using too much black ink.

I don't know a solution.

Also the home printer doesn't capture as much of the original picture.

So hands-down public library printouts are much cleaner and covers more of the original picture.

I haven't tried the color printouts yet.
