I’m Jenny, I’m 47, I’m a screenwriter, but I do have a day job as a dispatcher for AAA. I love both jobs very much. I’m one of five kids, so I learned how to live with people really young, and I am good at it. I am honest, trustworthy, kind, considerate, clean (if a little cluttered) but not to the point of being a tyrant about it, and I want the same from a roommate.
You would get the bigger bedroom. It has an en suite bathroom, a balcony, and a good size closet. The apartment has hardwood floors, an indoor hydroponic garden, was newly renovated five years ago, and has central heat and air conditioning. The rent, with water/trash/gas, ranges from $1100 to $1150 per month. We can split Spectrum, and we split LADWP every two months. The building has onsite laundry, an elevator, and a pool. It is wheelchair accessible. We are NoHo Arts Center adjacent, we are within a couple miles a Ralph’s, a Trader Joe’s, a Target, and several pharmacies. There are a ton of restaurants around here, and you can pretty much throw a rock and hit a Thai restaurant, and they’re all good. We are also right by the Metro line, and by a stop.
The apartment also comes with my 11 year old cat, who is very sweet but a diva, and before you know it, she’ll be following you into the bathroom too.
So, onsite laundry, a cat, and pool–what isn’t to love?
