Looking for an experienced Database Administrator for a short-term project involving production database work. Fully remote, independent contractor role.
Responsibilities
Optimize SQL queries and indexing
Manage schema changes, backups/restores, and data migrations
Maintain roles, permissions, and security standards
Perform performance tuning, data checks, and failover testing
Requirements
5+ years DBA experience in production environments
Expert SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server)
Strong background in performance, security, and data integrity
Details
~30 hrs/week for ~6 weeks
Remote with flexible schedule
Weekly pay via Stripe or Wise
