Some interesting facts I learned recently, dual-bands routers with same speed bandwidth are faster than tri-band ones because the way manufactures market their products using the total theoretical speed of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. For example, I have no devices with 6GHz, if I get Tri-Band BE9300 which claims to have 57Mbps(2.4G)+5760Mbps(6G)+2880Mbps(5G) then I actually downgrad the wifi speed to 573Mbps(2.4G)+2880Mbps(5G)=3453Mbps(2.4G+5G) from the netgear's 6000Mbps(2.4G+5G).
Why I am using this router:
I originally chose this model for its multiple Ethernet ports and proper DMZ support, which Spectrum’s router does not provide. It handled high traffic loads reliably and performed very well.
Important note / downside (full transparency):
The router includes one dedicated 5-Gigabit Ethernet port
The additional 2-Gigabit bandwidth is achieved via link aggregation, which requires a compatible network switch to fully utilize the combined 2 Gbps throughput
This is only a consideration if you plan to build a high-speed wired setup.
