This particular dummy has an interesting history. It was the first mook jong owned by Robert Downey Jr.. RDJ began his Wing Chun journey in the early 2000's after every other path to sobriety failed him. Clearly, his life gained a level of focus which has propelled him to the upper echelons of his field. This dummy was a step on that path. He later upgraded to a more elaborate dummy but this workhorse has decades of life left in it.
I'm uncertain what type of wood the body is made from, it was rather white in colour when I got it and I stained it to give a more traditional teak look.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to get or make a stand to use it. It does have holes for mounting 2 horizontal slats with either a wall mounting or freestanding base. Or you could explore other options.
