Tired of breaking small taps when hand tapping in tough material?
This tool works great. The 3/8 slip fit bushing on top (image 2)
allows the tap holder to be fully supported square
and centered over the hole being tapped buy holding the 3/8
dowel pin in the machine spindle or tail stock chuck and slipping
it into the 3/8 bushing on the top of the tool while working the tap.
Working travel is about 1 1/2".
The tap shown is not included.
