Champion Construction Supply is looking for a Dispatch Manager that is knowledgeable, energetic and able to consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. As our Dispatch Manager you'll play a critical role in coordinating deliveries across the greater LA area. You'll work closely with drivers, sales representatives, mechanics, and other departments to ensure trips are covered, schedules are met, and vehicle compliance is maintained—all while delivering exceptional customer service.
DAY TO DAY DUTIES
• Ensuring safety is always the #1 priority
• Coordinate daily operations including dispatching and adjusting driver assignments as needed.
• Coordinate accurate customer deliveries and stock pick up from Vendor Wearhouse.
• Oversee driver logs and PTIs.
• Manage vehicle repairs and maintenance, working alongside our mechanic.
• You will work in office at one of our locations.
• Manage GPS Tracking system.
• Retaining proper paperwork.
• Organize and lead driver meetings and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATTIONS
• Bilingual Preferred (Spanish).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with DOT compliance.
• Ability to lead by example and work as part of a collaborative team.
• High level of ethics and confidentiality.
• Experience in dispatch or logistics is strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 95 pounds.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.
