I have an MFA degree in screenwriting from the UCLA School of Film and Television, and I have written numerous original feature length scripts as well as written, directed, and produced a number of short films. I also have experience in developing story ideas and writing scripts as a ghost writer.
If you're looking for someone with a solid knowledge of script structure, I can develop loglines, treatments, and scripts for you from any stage of your story idea. I also have a working knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production work if you want to take your script to the next level.
If you have a great idea for a story and you want to turn it into a great script, there are two basic elements that must be addressed--story development and script structure. And there are certain screenwriting conventions to which virtually every successful feature film script adheres in regards to both of these areas.
I can help you with both the creative development of your story and the professional structure and formatting of a finished script.
I've worked for many years as a professional writer and journalist and also taught screenwriting at the college level. Whether you're serious about developing or polishing a script, need a producer/director for a short film, or need a film editor, I can help you bring your project to fruition.
I do not work for deferred pay, but I will negotiate the terms under which I might work for you. I can provide references upon request.
