Social Media Intern: Facebook Video Management & Instagram (Paid Internship)
3-month internship to start on or around April 1st.
COMPENSATION & LOCATION
$18/hr. 40 hours/week (includes paid lunch break). Regular business hours Mon-Fri at our North Hollywood Office. Potential for full-time employment following successful completion of internship.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP:
-Upload video content to facebook pages
-Includes writing titles, post captions, and selecting thumbnails to optimize for performance on social
-Monitor video performance across a network of pages
-Select, coordinate, and schedule all cross-shares to maximize Facebook midroll revenue potential
-Basic data compiling, reporting, and analysis -- including manually pulling and sorting specific data from a large library of content.
-Editing video optimized for social media performance: A mixture of assigned ideas and ideas you pitch with a goal of creating optimized and high-performing social video for Facebook
-Other tasks as assigned.
-Curating & scheduling content on instagram pages in a variety of verticals, including: Science, Technology, and Facts
-A mixture of assigned ideas and ideas you pitch with a goal of creating optimized and high-performing social posts for our instagram audiences promoting page growth
-Basic Photoshop skills
-Previous facebook page management
-An understanding of optimizing video for social
-Experience writing for digital publishers a plus!
-Knowledge of pop culture, meme culture, and what resonates with a social audience in those areas ideal
-Ability to take direction well as well as exercise strong critical thinking skills a must!
