This Custom Designed Split System was installed as the primary cooling unit on a 3000 Bottle above ground Wine Storage Vault. It is capable of proper cellar temps even in elevated ambient outside temps of 105 deg, +. It was only in use for 2.5 years. The installing technician could further modify it to power a refrigeration room, +/- 35 deg. depending on size. It is highly customizable.
The primary "split" system includes a 6100BTU Copeland condensing unit mounted on the exterior, and connected via line set to a LRC Coil Double-ended Quiet Fan evaporator inside. LRC evaporator coils are specially coated to resist etching and corrosion in a acidic wine storage environment. Temperature is monitored and regulated by a high quality digital thermostat on the exterior of the unit. Condensation is removed automatically via a condensate pump.
