These HW M154C armchairs were restored by Penny Lane. They were completed disassembled (plugs were drilled out to expose hidden screws, all surfaces hand sanded, reassembled, and clear coated three times with hand polishing between the coats. Also, they were in undamaged condition before restoration. Most surviving dogbone armchairs have cracked arms where they are mounted to the seat from years of abuse. The arms and legs on these chairs were never damaged or repaired. These chairs are much better than when they were new over 60 years ago. You won't find any nicer.
