brand new, never used since I purchased kinda "late" compared with my baby's growth. But it would work great for a baby just starting crawling. It just sits on the carpet on the second floor in my house. The bumps are attached to each other with Velcro. This is about the same price as Gymboree's one monthly fee, and month more covienient!
