Thinning my herd and letting this lightweight (19 lbs) top-of-the-line aluminum frame GT Legato 1.0 flat bar road bike go. The build quality on this bike is second to none - the tube welds are super clean and it just feels solid going down the road. The bike looks really sharp for its age, with only a few nicks on the top tube from the brake levers.

I call this my cafe racer, it’s quick, slick and super quiet riding. I have many other, more expensive bikes but none have a quiet drivetrain like this one. It’s a 10-speed Ultegra/105 groupset combo with a threaded bottom bracket - such a pleasure going thru gears on this bike. Tiagra brake levers actuate MTB style v-brakes that offer plenty of stopping power, even on the carbon rims.

It’s got a bump-smoothing carbon fork from the factory, and to complete the resto-mod I added a carbon seat post, carbon seat (surprisingly comfortable - I did a 50K ride on it no problem) and era-specific carbon wheels (+$200). Did I mention that this thing rides smooth?

It has fender mounts and the fork can accommodate up to 40mm (1.75 in) tires and the rear has room for a 32 mm if you want more comfort or want to venture off the pavement into the gravel (currently mounted with 25mm Conti GPs).

The bike is an XL, which equates to about a 59cm frame. I’m 6’2” and it’s a good fit for me and I ride it as pictured. It would probably fit riders 6’1” to 6’5”.

I can include the carbon rims in the pictures for $200 above listing price, otherwise the bike comes with Mavic aluminum rims. If you want a lower price than listed I can swap out the carbon bits and pieces. I also have different pedals and saddles and can customize for friendly buyers.
