Hot Tubes steel road bike, made in the USA using Columbus Neuron tubing. Size is 56.cm c-c, and suitable for a rider between 5ft-9in and 6 ft tall (give or take). This bike was just rebuilt using a mixed Shimano groupset (105, Ultegra, Dura-Ace) and is ready to ride. Needs nothing. New cables and housing, new tires, and new bar tape. No pedals included since there are many different types of cycling shoes and corresponding pedals, but flat pedals can be installed for a test ride. Has 40mm of spacers under the stem and the stem installed flipped up, so the photos demonstrate the highest bar position. Flipping the stem or re-arranging the spacers can be done to dial in the fit as needed or to get a lower position.
This frame has some history to it. This frame was made for Dustin Rademacher on the Hot Tubes team. Not sure if this was his primary race bike or a back-up bike. The Hot Tubes team is a junior development program that has launched the careers of Pro Tour riders such as Nate Brown, Lawson Craddock, Ben King, Gavin Mannion, and others. Dustin Rademacher has significant success in the 17-18 yr old category. So here's your chance to own a bike that was owned/used by a successful junior rider on the most successful US junior cycling program.
Just in time for great Fall riding weather, some of the best weather of the year in SoCal!
