About the Artist:
Charlene Winterle Olson was born and raised in Georgia. She studied art at Georgia University and is currently based in Athens, Georgia, where she owns a gallery together with her husband, Norm Olson. She specializes in creating traditional-style paintings although she mixes her pieces with contemporary design. She has sold pieces throughout her life in galleries in the United States and other countries. She uses all kinds of techniques for her pieces including oil, acrylic, watercolor, printmaking, pen, ink, and collage.
