Job description:
The Assistant Account Manager supports the Account Management team in handling daily operations for key retail accounts, and other major customers. This role includes processing purchase orders, preparing shipping documents and labels, coordinating with the warehouse, tracking shipments, and ensuring clear communication between internal departments and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and review customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare and print order details, shipping labels, and packing lists
Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping
Maintain communication with retail clients regarding order status and delivery schedules
Support Account Managers with reporting, item setup, and client presentations
Input and manage order-related data in ERP systems or retail portals
Assist in resolving order discrepancies or shipping issues
Qualifications:
Bachelorโs degree or equivalent preferred
1โ3 years of experience in order management, account coordination, or sales operations
Strong written and verbal English communication skills required
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
Experience working with large retail accounts is a plus
