Hi,
I bought this nice 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne Sedan Delivery a few months ago, then bought another car I am going to build instead.
This is a documented 17,000 original mile car that was originally a 6-cylinder w/3-speed manual transmission. Early in its life, it was converted to a 283 V-8 (it still has a generator).
She led a very sheltered life and must have been stored indoors. She is very rust-free, except for the floor pans, which were covered by a vinyl flooring that trapped moisture underneath.
The rest of the car is very solid. It came from Northern California. I like buying cars that haven’t been touched, like this one, because there isn’t bad bodywork hiding underneath. One look and you know exactly what you are getting.
It has a different front clip because the owner got into a small fender bender and actually had a perfect spare front clip that he swapped over. I have a photo of the original front end - it wasn’t bad at all.
1960 is the last year for Chevrolet sedan deliveries. Only around 4,000 were made. Title is clear and in my name and the car is currently registered and insured.
She is rare, but especially rare in untouched original condition. If you are interested, I can take more photos. Better yet, come to Irwindale and drive her home.
Now selling for what I have in her - $18,750.00. No trades. Starting business. Need cash. My loss is your gain. Don’t miss out on this very rare car. You’ll be sorry.
